Safe2Pay provides both EFTPOS and Online Merchant Facilities via our partnership with First Data, one of the world’s largest payment processors and merchant transaction acquirers. Frequently Asked Questions

Does Safe2Pay EFTPOS accept international payments?

All international cards using MasterCard or Visa will be accepted. International mobile wallets Alipay and WeChat Pay are also accepted. Our EFTPOS terminals are capable of accepting Union Pay, AMEX and Diner’s Club if the merchant has previously organised it. Accepting international cards will often incur a higher transaction fee. How long does it take for the terminals to arrive?

Once your application is approved by Westpac, it’ll take 2-4 business days for the terminal to arrive.

Do I have to change my bank account?

No, you’ll be able to use Safe2Pay’s EFTPOS while banking with your preferred bank.

When will my money appear in my bank account?

If you have a Westpac or St.George business account, your money will settle the same-day. If you currently have a business account with another bank, your money will settle the next business day.
