What is a Virtual Terminal?
A Virtual Terminal utilises a Payment Gateway, and allows you to manually input card details and then process the transaction. It’s like an online POS solution or a digital EFTPOS terminal.
What payment types are accepted?
MasterCard and Visa. It can also process AMEX, Union Pay and Diners’ Club if the merchant has already organised a merchant facility with these providers.
How do I access the Virtual Terminal?
Once you have signed up with Safe2Pay, you will be able to access the Virtual Terminal through your merchant Dashboard – it’s on the menu on the left hand side of the screen. Alternatively you can download the Safe2Pay PocketPos app from your phones app store. To sign-in/activate, you scan the QR code that we provide you upon sign-up. Do I have to change my bank account?
No, you’ll be able to use Safe2Pay’s EFTPOS while banking with your preferred bank.
When will my money appear in my bank account?
If you have a Westpac or St.George business account, your money will settle the same-day. If you currently have a business account with another bank, your money will settle the next business day.
